On the 30th of June 2019 Scone Palace held their first dog friendly event 'Paws at the Palace', the event was in partnership with Dog Friendly Perthshire and the location was in a very beautiful and historic part of Scotland. They had a brilliant turnout for their first year, it was attended by 4,000 people and 2,000 dogs. On the day you could meet Scottish Dogs of Instagram including Little Biker Dog who travels around Scotland by motorbike with his owner Dave and also some lovely rescue Staffies from Staffies Smiles Rescue.
Kratu the Rescue Dog was invited as a VIP Guest, he has touched the hearts of many people from around the world and brings smiles to everyone he meets. He has gained some new fans since attending the event.
Scone Palace is a Category A listed historic house, it is near the village of Scone and the city of Perth in Scotland. Built of red sandstone with a castellated roof, the arhcitecture is of a late Georgian Gothic style. Scone Palace has an exciting and colourful history as one of Scotland's most important stately homes and sits above the River Tay in Perthshire.
Below are some of my images from my first visit to Scone Palace, they are available to purchase as prints or digital downloads. 10% of profits from sales are donated to Staffie Smiles Rescue www.staffiesmilesrescue.com
