Visiting Paris and the River cruise

Paris was originally a Roman City called Lutetia. It is the most visited capital in the world and known as the “City Of Lights.” The city was found during the 3rd Century BC and used to be called Lutetia.

Bateaux Dinner and River Cruise

If you would like to view Paris from a different perspective I can thorouhly recommend the evening Bateaux Dinner and River Cruise where you will enjoy some beautiful views of the city lit up at night. One of my favourite parts of the cruise was seeing the Statue of Liberty near the Eiffel Tower, the statue was given to Paris by the American community during 1889. The statue can be seen via Pont de Grenelle or Pont de Bir-Hakeim, it is on a small artifical island on the river Seine. The Dinner Cruises start from 69 euros and run at 6.15pm or 8.30pm. For more information please visit their website https://www.bateauxparisiens.com/en/meal-cruise.html

Paris is well known for its cafe culture and beautiful iconic places including Notre Dame. It is also famous for the Eiffel Towe, Louvre, Moulin Rouge, pastries and fashion. By the 12th Century Paris was the largest city in the Western world and the oldest bridge is Pont Neuf (New Bridge). There are 6,100 streets in the city and the shortest one Rue des Degres is only 5.75 metres long.

I loved photographing this beautiful city and if you are looking for images for your home please take a look at my online Etsy shop. The images below are a selection of some of my photography that is available to purchase as individual prints or part of a set https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/NatashaBalletta
