Love Hounds Fundraising Event for dog rescue charitiesIn February Rowena Kenward and Amos Batt of Mr B’s Proper Walks held their fundraising event Love Hounds at the Blacksmith and Toffeemaker Pub in Islington. I really enjoyed meeting and photographing so many adorable dogs in the Snuggle Spot area where owners and dogs could have their photos taken. Some of the dogs could have spent all afternoon on the sofa and were too comfortable to move! There were many supporters who attended Love Hounds including Portrait Pals where you could meet some of their artists that did live drawings or paintings of people's dogs on the day. The event was held to raise funds for two rescue dog charities Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue and Cinque Ports Rescue http://cinqueportsrescue.org.uk The total amount raised was £527.27 which is a great amount and will help more dogs needing homes.
