All Dogs Matter Charity and Rescue Staffie Photo Shoot

In 2016 I went to Southend Farm kennels to meet up with Sonia Roberston from All Dogs Matter Charity and photograph some of their dogs looking for homes. One of the Staffies I really took to was Muriel who was found as a stray, she is one of the most playful Staffies I have met, I could have spent all afternoon with her. Because she liked to have a lot of fuss and attention, I did not get a lot of photos of Muriel as she mostly wanted hugs from me. In August 2016 Muriel was adopted by her owners Frank and Anne, after she had settled in I met up with them for a follow up photo shoot. It was lovely to see how well Muriel is doing, she still has the same happy and playful character she had when I met her for the first time. Since adopting Muriel she has made a huge difference to Frank and Anne's lives they cannot imagine life without her. Anne says "Muriel has a lovely temperament, she is very loving with a gorgeous smile and happy disposition. People take to her easily and she is good with children and adults. She also has an endearing playful side, when you play ball she loves teasing you, she brings the ball and as you go to pick it up she will quickly pick it up and run off until you are ready to throw it."
