National Pet Show 2016

Each year in May the National Pet Show hold their event at London Excel, if you are into different animals it is a great event to go to. At the show you have the opportunity to meet dogs, cats, alpacas, donkeys, pigs, birds of prey and reptiles.

I always look forward to watching the dog demonstrations at the show. The Hill's School 4 Dogs Pet Nutrition hold fun demonstrations which teach people how to train their dogs. One of the performances I enjoyed the most was Lucy Heath and her border collie Indie doing Heelwork To Music. They have also featured on Britain's Got Talent. I was excited to see Gill Raddings Stunt Dogs again after meeting them at Crufts.

If you are a cat person, they have really beautiful and stunning cats who you can meet them in the Cat Zone. The owners are always happy to answer questions if you are interested in getting a particular breed. Some of the cat breeds they had this year were the Norweigan Forest Cats and the Australian Mist Cat.

My favourite lens to photograph the cats is the Nikon 24-70mm F2.8 lens and I use the Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 lens for the dog demonstrations.
