The Chocolate Show 2016
I went to The Chocolate Show at Olympia London for the first time this year and thoroughly enjoyed it. There were so many different stalls to visit where you could try samples of chocolates from around the world. Throughout the show Will Torrent did demonstrations in the Cookery Theatre. One of the things I enjoyed the most was visiting some of the people who make their own chocolate sculptures, Choco Passion make their sculptures in Italy and have a range from chocolate cameras to minions http://www.chocopassionuk.com/ Azra Chocolates does hand crafted shoes made of Belgium Chocolate http://www.azrachocolates.co.uk/ and The UK Chocolatician made the Queen, Corgi Dogs and CumberBunnies http://www.chocolatician.com/shop/cumber-bunny
Each year there is a Chocolate Fashion Show, there were beautiful dresses during the Fashion Show. The idea behind it was chocolatiers and fashion designers wanted to make unique chocolate dresses.
I used my Nikon D300s camera, Nikon 24-70mm F2.8 lens and Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 lens to photograph the show. The Nikon 24/70mm was my favourite for photographing the sculptures and Sigma 70-200mm for the Fashion Show as you could be more district and get more natural photos of the people taking part.
